Ka-Chu Facecover

Stowage of Ka-Chu with ties

The following proceedure will keep the inner and outer breathing surfaces separated, and cover them, to help prevent contamination of other surfaces.

"headband" refers to the upper edge of the Ka-Chu.

"flap" refers to the apex of the Ka-Chu.

"wingtips" refers to the corner tips on each side of the headband.

"ties" refers to the strings extending from each wingtip, if present.

When properly folded, the Ka-Chu can be placed in a ziplock baggie for additional protection.

1. Fully open the Ka-Chu. Hold the Ka-Chu at each wingtip, and fold it in half, enclosing the outer surface.

2a. Hold the Ka-Chu at the flap and the headband, letting the wingtips hang down.

2b. Roll down the Ka-Chu along the headband to the wingtips.

3. Fold the Ka-Chu in half.

4. Wrap the ties diagonally around the Ka-Chu.

5. As the tie tips recross the tie strings, tuck them under and give them a tug. Done!

If your Ka-Chu does not have ties:

2b. Roll down the Ka-Chu along the headband to the wingtips.

3. Fold the Ka-Chu in half. and secure
with an elastic band - done!
